The Program Director works closely with the Executive Director to plan and implement the Commission’s strategic priorities, ensuring that Commission investments are data-driven and locally relevant. This position provides oversight and expertise to evaluate the efficacy of funded programs projects and initiatives. In addition, the Program Director supports countywide partners to advance First 5 Sonoma County’s goals and vision of success for improving outcomes and builds the overall system of care for young children and their families in Sonoma County. 

The Project Manager manages and administers local and regional activities related to First 5 Sonoma County projects and initiatives to develop, improve and enhance systems that support the optimal development of children, birth to five. The position supports efforts to establish, increase and leverage resources and revenue streams to support early childhood systems. In addition, the Project Manager represents First 5 Sonoma County as a contributor to local, regional and state collaborative initiatives and fosters cross-agency communication.
